If you want a programming job with Amazon you have to cram for sorting algorithms like this:
But if you order 10 bottles of $0.97 acrylic paint this is what you get:
3 packages on one trip to the locker, one a cardboard box with a lonely $0.97 bottle of paint in it.
So the emphasis on sorting in Amazon interviews would appear to be well founded.
